While working in childcare at my local YMCA, I noticed the embarrassment that certain kids endured when taking their daily medication. They would be removed from the group so a childcare director could hand them a crumpled plastic bag or dump the necessary pills out straight from the bottle. The dependence on the adult and the cold reminder of hospitals and pharmacies made the kids feel set apart from their peers.
Brief: Design a pill organizer that allows kids to take charge of their own wellness routines in a lighthearted and fun way.
